Alhamdulillah, by the grace and mercy of Almighty Allah, Youth of the Ummah successfully hosted its 16th Annual Ramadan Youth Night titled “Our Call of Duty” on Friday night, 6 March 2026, at Masjid Mu’adh bin Jabal, Berea West (Westville). The programme commenced after Taraweeh and concluded close to midnight, with a strong and enthusiastic turnout from the youth.

During the weekend of 4th-5th October, the Youth of the Ummah (YOU) group; a Muslim youth development initiative of Darul Ihsan Humanitarian Centre; held a ‘Dads & Lads Overnight Camp’ at Sunset Ridge Farm, Camperdown.

Al Ihsaan Trust brought the energy, the vibes, and the vision to life with an unforgettable Overnight Youth Camp at The Pit Farm. With 23 energetic boys aged 14 to 16, this camp had it all — spirituality, adventure, teamwork, and good times. It was two days packed with learning, laughter, bonding, and big moments.

On Wednesday, 30 April, the Youth of the Ummah (YOU) hosted a Buloogh Programme at the Darul Ihsan Humanitarian Centre in Sea Cow Lake, Durban, garnering the attendance of approximately 100 Muslims aged 10-15.

The Youth of the Ummah’s 15th Youth Camp, held at Seula Zimbili in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN), was a transformative and spiritually enriching event designed to inspire and uplift the Muslim youth. The camp, which ran over 3 days i.e. 3,4,5 of December 2024, was loaded with fun filled activities and guided by Islamic teachings. 

Alhumdulillah, our third term holiday activity for the under 12 year olds was held at the Darul Ihsan offices in Seacowlake. The activity was directed as encouraging our youngsters to become productive and proactive individuals. Keeping this in mind, YOU created a basic Handyman activity that concluded with the building of a basic motorized car which turned out to be the highlight of the program.
